President of Azerbaijan Lays Wreath at Statue of Ismoil Somoni

DUSHANBE, 05.04.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, as part of his state visit to Tajikistan, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, as a symbol of respect for the culture and civilization of the Tajik nation, laid a wreath at the Statue of Ismoil Somoni.
At the wreath-laying ceremony, the President of Azerbaijan was accompanied by the Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda and other officials.
As part of visit of the Azerbaijani Leader, a summit meetings and negotiations between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan are expected.
A package of documents is expected to be signed as a result of the talks.
