Tragic Traffic Accident in Kulob city

The transport truck with the licence plate 538 ZН 01, owned by LLC “Kafolat Voridotu Sodirot” crashed into other cars and residential buildings in the city of Kulob, which resulted in loss of life and property,
The accident happened on the evening of August 6 on the Dushanbe-Kulob-Khorugh highway. The cause of the incident was the failure of the brakes, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan.
A criminal case has been initiated. A preliminary investigation is underway by the prosecutor’s office.
The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, the Committee for Emergency Situations, and the chairman of the Khatlon region to the scene.
The injured were provided with timely primary medical and material assistance from state institutions.
