Dushanbe to Host the Forum of Central Asian Volunteers

DUSHANBE, 07.09.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The Forum of Central Asian Volunteers will be held on September 14 in Dushanbe.
It will be attended by active volunteers, volunteer organizations, political scientists and other interested persons from Central Asia.
The main goal of the forum is to explore innovative approaches to the implementation and development of volunteer activities.
Detailed information about the activities and achievements of volunteer movements in the countries of the region will be presented in the forum.
The forum will also focus on important and topical issues related to taking the necessary measures to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by combining the efforts of the Central Asian states in the process of developing and implementing joint volunteer projects and initiatives.
The Law of Tajikistan “On Volunteering” has been in force since 2013, and the authorized state body on volunteering in Tajikistan is the Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports.
