Tajikitan and Thailand Discuss Inter-parliamentary Ties

DUSHANBE, 23.02.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday in Baku, as part of participation in the 14th session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, Speaker of the Assemby of Representatives Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda met with the President of the National Assembly of Thailand Wan Muhamad Noor Matha.
The focused on issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation.
It was emphasized that the Tajik side is optimistic about the future of creative cooperation with Thailand and is ready to consistently strive for its development and expansion in all sectors.
It was expressed hope that inter-parliamentary relations would give new impetus to the expansion of ties between Tajikistan and Thailand.
Zokirzoda proposed creating friendship and inter-parliamentary cooperation groups for joint coordination.
The parties also expressed their readiness to develop and expand ties.
