Tajikistan’s economic successes presented at Innoprom 2024 in Yekaterinburg

DUSHANBE, 09.07.2024 /NIAT Khovar/. Within the framework of the International Exhibition «Innoprom 2024» on July 9 in Yekaterinburg (Russian Federation), the plenary session of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, acting as a partner of this industrial forum, was held, reports the correspondent of NIAT «Khovar».
The delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan at the session was headed by Sherali Kabir, Minister of Industry and New Technologies, member of the Meeting of Industry Ministers of the SCO member states.
The main theme of the session was «Horizon 2035, Shanghai Cooperation Organization — the axis of the global economy».
The role of the SCO as an established authoritative interstate platform and an influential participant in the system of international relations, whose member states have a large stock of mineral resources, a huge market, a powerful production base and scientific and technical potential, was highly appreciated.
Sherali Kabir informed about the successes of Tajikistan over the last decade, achieved mainly due to the efforts and initiatives of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. The adopted programs envisage a 2-fold increase in the country’s industrial production by 2025.
