DUSHANBE, 20.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 20, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of the city of Dushanbe, Honorable Rustam Emomali, visited a modern greenhouse of the “Seeds of Hope” Commercial Cooperative in the Sino district of Dushanbe.

This greenhouse was built on an area of 1.5 hectares of land, and equipment and devices for growing vegetables according to new practices were imported from abroad. The main goal of the farmers is to provide the population of Dushanbe with fresh vegetables in all seasons.

The Head of State was informed that this greenhouse is constantly operating, and a stable temperature inside it is ensured using modern methods.

Before cucumbers, tomatoes were grown in the greenhouse and their harvest was offered to the markets of Dushanbe and the surrounding areas. The cucumber harvest in the greenhouse is now abundant, and this is evidence that the employees of the “Seeds of Hope” Commercial Cooperative, consisting of 10 people, have extensive experience in planting and growing vegetables. Choosing varieties adapted to the country’s climate is another way to achieve a high yield.

Irrigation in greenhouses is implemented using the drip method. Vegetables are also supplied with nutrients through drip irrigation tubes. The technology for caring for vegetables in the greenhouse operates automatically, increasing productivity.

Through protective measures, vegetables are protected from the effects of natural disasters, such as excessive heat and pests.

While getting acquainted with the results of the work of vegetable growers and display of products from the greenhouse of the «Seeds of Hope» Commercial Cooperative, the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, had a cordial conversation with the employees and gave useful instructions and recommendations for producing various types of vegetables, introducing new cultivation methods, gradually expanding the greenhouse area, creating additional jobs, and providing the markets of Dushanbe with high-quality products.
