Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon Inaugurates Regional Hospital in Loiq Sherali Village of Panjakent

DUSHANBE, 11.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 11, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, opened the regional hospital in the village of Loiq Sherali, Panjakent city, by lifting the curtain on the symbolic plaque.
It was reported that the regional hospital was built with a modern design in order to implement the social policy of the Head of State to improve the quality of medical services to the population and is able to serve 25 thousand residents of the village of Loiq Sherali, 4 surrounding villages, as well as residents of Ayni and Kuhistoni Mastchoh districts.
The construction of the facility began 3 years ago with the support of the Executive Body of State Power of Sughd Province, and 200 local residents were employed during the construction of this facility.
The building consists of 3 floors and a basement, and its departments of internal medicine, surgery, neurology, maternity, pediatrics, laboratory and other diagnostic and treatment rooms are equipped with 100 beds and modern equipment and devices.
During the inspection of the existing facilities of the newly built building, the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, highly appreciated the quality of the work performed and charged those responsible with ensuring the quality of medical services to the population and training qualified and experienced youth.
The construction of a boiler room and connecting the building to the heating system will allow patients to be provided with services without problems in the autumn and winter.
The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, presented a service vehicle to the emergency department of the regional hospital.
After inspecting the hospital, the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, simultaneously opened 5 new healthcare facilities virtually.
A branch of the State Institution of the Dental Center in the center of the city of Panjakent, 3 health centers in the villages of Ravot, Kuhdoman, Shurnova, and an additional building for patients of the State Institution of the Dermatology and Venereology Hospital in the village named after Loiq Sherali, all of these having good service conditions, were built to celebrate the 35th anniversary of state independence with the contribution of residents and entrepreneurs, the support of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Executive Body of State Power of the city of Panjakent.
