14 Tajik judokas to compete at Lausanne Grand Slam 2026

DUSHANBE, July 26, 2026 (NIAT Khovar) — Fourteen judokas from Tajikistan will compete at the international “Lausanne Grand Slam 2026” tournament, which will be held from August 28 to 30 in Lausanne, Switzerland, Deputy Chairman of the Tajikistan Judo Federation Ergas Mahmadbekov told NIAT Khovar.
The men’s national team will include Loik Qutbiddinov (60 kg), Emomali Nurali and Iskandar Mahmadkhojazoda (66 kg), Muhiddin Asadulloev and Masudi Ahmadzoda (73 kg), Behruz Khojazoda and Abubakr Sherov (81 kg), Muhammadjon Abduljalilzoda and Shodmon Rizoev (90 kg), Jahongir Majidov and Somoni Kishvarov (100 kg), as well as Mansur Rahmon (+100 kg).
Tajikistan’s women’s team will be represented by Ahliya Muminova (48 kg) and Madina Qurbanzoda (52 kg).
The Lausanne Grand Slam is one of the major international judo events, bringing together leading athletes from around the world.
