President Emomali Rahmon visits the exhibition of agricultural products and folk crafts in Khovaling

DUSHANBE, 11.09.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 11, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, continued his working trip to the village of Kuldara, Khovaling district, visiting the exhibition of agricultural products and folk crafts.
Various types of agricultural products were exhibited at this exhibition.
Here, various types of agricultural products were presented in beautiful shapes, styles, and compositions.
During the visit to the exhibition, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the climate of the Khovaling district is very favorable for growing potatoes, local onions, carrots, and cabbage.
At the same time, the climate of the district is suitable for cultivating apple, pear, cherry, peach, and walnut orchards, and farmers annually obtain a rich harvest of these types of products.
Products of folk crafts, such as national breads and pastries, as well as honey, formed interesting corners of the exhibition. There are more than 4570 bee colonies in the district, from which they obtain pure natural honey.
Currently, there are 8088 hectares of arable land in the district in all forms of agriculture. Farmers and gardeners collect their seasonal products, sell part of it, and store the rest for the winter.
