Shohin Airlines is in advanced talks with Airbus to acquire four aircraft from the A320neo family as part of efforts to expand its fleet and strengthen its position in the air transport market, the airline’s press center said.
The discussions build on a memorandum of understanding signed earlier this year in Toulouse covering the planned purchase of two A320neo and two A321neo aircraft, laying the groundwork for deeper cooperation and identifying priority areas for partnership.
Both sides are showing steady progress, with negotiations now in their final stages, according to the airline.
The planned acquisition is expected to support the carrier’s transition into commercial passenger and cargo operations, alongside its current helicopter services.
Shohin Airlines, a private carrier registered in Tajikistan, is focused on developing national civil aviation and expanding regional and international connectivity, while continuing discussions with leading global aircraft manufacturers on future fleet development.
