The delegation attended the forum’s opening ceremony, side events and an international exhibition showcasing goods and products, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan reported.
The event brought together more than 20,000 participants from 130 countries, including government officials, investors, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, scientists and other experts.
On the sidelines of the forum, Abdurahmonzoda held talks with Russian Economic Development Minister Maxim Reshetnikov. The two sides reviewed progress on implementing instructions issued by the leaders of both countries during the Russian president’s recent state visit to Tajikistan.
Discussions also focused on expanding exports of Tajik agricultural products to Russia, including fresh and dried fruits and vegetables such as grapes.
Officials said strengthening trade cooperation and improving product quality standards could help broaden Tajikistan’s export base and enhance the stability of agricultural supply chains.
