UN Assistant Secretary-General expressed an interest to strengthen further cooperation in all priority sectors with Tajikistan
Dushanbe, 13.06.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The meeting of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Qohir Rasulzoda with the UN Assistant Secretary-General and Assistant Administrator and Director of the Regional Bureau for Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (RBEC) of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Cihan Sultanoglu took place in Dushanbe today.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and the UN, as well as the prospects of strengthening collaboration in the near future.
It was emphasized that bilateral cooperation on the basis of priority programs and socio-economic policies is at the proper level and in the interests of the parties.
Ms. Cihan Sultanoglu expressed her appreciation and gratitude for the constant attention and support for the development of bilateral relations between the government of Tajikistan and the UN by its head, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, voiced an interest and willingness to strengthen further cooperation in all priority sectors.
