DUSHANBE, 01.06.2017. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon held a working meeting on topical issues of socio-economic development of the country.

Prime Minister of Tajikistan, his first deputy and deputies, the Head of the Executive Office and her deputies, Assistants to the President, the Chairman of Dushanbe city and the heads of a number of relevant ministries and departments attended the meeting.

By Resolutions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan were appointed the Director-General of the open joint-stock company (OJSC) Qurghonteppa International Airport and the Deputy Director of the Agency on standardization, metrology, certification and trade inspection Under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

A number of staff changes were carried out in the prosecutor’s office and the Drug Control Agency (DCA) under the President of Tajikistan as well.

In addition, in agreement with the President of Tajikistan, the prosecutors of the cities and districts of Vanj of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province, Danghara, Farkhor, Jaloliddini Balkhi and Sarband of the Khatlon Province, the city of Istaravshan of the Sughd Province, Varzob district, and the deputy Prosecutor of Dushanbe City, as well as the head of personnel department and the head of the department for supervision over execution of tax legislation at the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Sughd transport Prosecutor were appointed.

The participants of the meeting were discussed the issues regarding agricultural sector, carrying out sowing campaign, providing Dushanbe’s markets with basic food products, organizing a fair-sale of food products, making preparations for autumn-winter season and strengthening measures to provide the country’s capital with electricity and heating, systemic functioning of the sphere of education, especially the work of the National Testing Center, the summing-up of the academic year, the organization of schoolchildren’s summer recreation, support of the orphans, other needy and rendering all-round assistance to them.
