Tajik-Moldavian Interior Ministers discussed issues of improving cooperation in combating crime
DUSHANBE, 28.09.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Colonel-General Ramazon Rahimzoda, as part of his visit to Chinese Beijing for the 86th Interpol General Assembly, met today with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Moldova Alexander Zhizdan.
According to the MIA of the country, the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two ministries in the sphere of combating terrorism, extremism and transnational crime was discussed.
Tajik Minister Rahimzoda expressed his confidence that this meeting will further strengthen professional contacts and provide an opportunity to improve cooperation in the fight against crime.
Moldavian Interior Minister Alexander Zhizdan stressed that in the process of globalization, the activities of terrorist and extremist organizations has acquired transnational character, which generally threatens the security of individual states and the world.
The parties have expressed their readiness to strengthen cooperation between the two countries’ Interior Ministries in the fight against modern threats and challenges.
