DUSHANBE, 16.02.2018. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon addressed the plenary session of the Central Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan.

The plenary session participants include the party’s Central Executive Committee members, the Central Auditing Commission members, the members of People’s Democratic Party faction in Parliament, delegates from the party’s regional branches, the heads of ministries and agencies, the heads of regions, cities and districts and media representatives.

The participants summed up the results of the party’s activities in 2017 and set tasks for the future.

In his address the Chairman of the Party Emomali Rahmon noted that we stand at a difficult moment in history. The world is faced with challenges and transformation, i.e. its affect can setback natural process of the society. Therefore, we need to fully consider these transformations and give them a real assessment and against their backdrop we should set tasks for the future.

It was expressed confidence that every set up events and festive celebrations have been urged to focus on strengthening national unity, peace and stability, the development of democracy in an independent country.

In the cause of the social progress and propaganda of the achievements of the republic, the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan has acquired authority and great importance. Its programs are aimed at the progress and prosperity of the country, improving people’s lives and strengthening peace and stability.

Following plenary session of the Central Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan, the Chairman of the Party Emomali Rahmon called the participants to fully consolidate peace and unity, to work honestly for the benefit of the people and the Motherland.

The congress participants unanimously adopted the decisions of the meeting.
