DUSHANBE, 01.04.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi exchanged congratulatory messages on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

President Emomali Rahmon’s message reads, in particular:

«Excellency,

It gives me great pleasure to sincerely congratulate you on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Arab Republic of Egypt.

It is gratifying that over these past years the relations of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries have been steadily developing and have acquired new constructive facets.

The Tajik side highly appreciates today’s level of interaction with friendly Egypt and wishes its further development in all spheres of mutual interests.

I am confident that by consistent efforts of the parties all opportunities in this direction will continue to be effectively used in accordance with the fundamental interests of our peoples.
