Participation of the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon in the 2018 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony
The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon took part in the 2018 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony at the Russian Federation capital — Moscow.
The FIFA World Cup 2018 Opening Ceremony were also attended by heads of state and government of Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Bolivia, Lebanon,Panama, Paraguay, and Rwanda. Crown Prince represented Saudi Arabia at the World Cup Opening ceremony.
The national teams of Russia and Saudi Arabia met in the opening match of the World Cup.
The first-class stadiums in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Kazan, Volgograd, Samara, Rostov-on-Don, Nizhny Novgorod, Saransk, Kaliningrad and Yekaterinburg will hosts Football matches between the national teams of the world.
It should be noted that due to the efforts and initiatives of the Leader of the Nation and the fruitful activity of the Tajikistan Football Federation, football becomes massive and under developing throughout the country.
