Tajik Foreign Minister meets UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 13.07.2018. /NIAT «Khovar»/. On July 12, 2018, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in Tajikistan, Pratibha Mehta.
According to the Tajik MFA Information Department, during the meeting the sides discussed the issues of cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and UNDP, as well as the results of the International High Level Conference on the International Decade for Action «Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028», held on June 20-22, 2018 in Dushanbe.
The sides highly appreciated the results of the International Conference and exchanged views on the implementation of the goals and objectives of this Conference and the new Water Action Decade.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his gratitude to UNDP for facilitating in preparation and holding of the Conference.
