French Minister of State Extends Macron’s Invitation to President Emomali Rahmon
DUSHANBE, 19.04.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the Secretary of State to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne in Dushanbe yesterday.
“Today I met with the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. Today, we also have commissioned the Control Room at the Dushanbe International Airport, which is a gift of the French Republic to the people of Tajikistan,” said Lemoyne during his briefing.
“During the meeting with President [Emomali Rahmon], we discussed deepening bilateral cooperation between the two states. I conveyed the official invitation of the French President Emmanuel Macron to President Emomali Rahmon to visit the exhibition devoted to Tajikistan, which will be held this year, where historical exhibits of Tajikistan will be presented,” said Lemoyne.
“We also had a constructive exchange of views on regional security issues, and the need to establish contacts and expand cooperation in the fight against terrorism and extremism was stressed,” he noted.
Lemoine added that the French side is actively preparing for the upcoming visit of President Emomali Rahmon to Paris.
The French delegation led by Lemoyne arrived in Dushanbe yesterday.
