Tajik and Turkish Foreign Ministers Met in Ankara
DUSHANBE, 23.04.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – While on his official visit to Turkey the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu on Monday.
Following the meeting, delegations representing both countries held talks in an expanded format to discuss a wide range of issues related to the current state, bilateral and multilateral relations and prospects for cooperation were discussed. The officials shared their views on cooperation in politics, economy, trade, investment, industry, education, culture, tourism, security, combating terrorism and strengthening the legal framework for cooperation.
During the discussions, further action on international policy and within the framework of international and regional organizations was coordinated by both sides. This was followed by Muhriddin and Cavusoglu signing a memorandum of cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries in the field of archives.
Following the talks, a press conference was held with the participation of Muhriddin and Cavusoglu.
