Muhriddin and EU High Representative Mogherini Discuss Tajik-EU Cooperation Agreements
DUSHANBE, 08.07.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – While in Bishkek for the annual EU-Central Asia minesterial meeting, the Tajik Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini this Sunday.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues relating to the Tajik-EU cooperation and the implementation of the reached agreements during European Council President Donald Tusk’s visit to Tajikistan earlier this May, reported the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The sides expressed satisfaction over the level and content of the dynamically developing relations between Tajikistan and the EU, including within the framework of various bilateral and regional cooperation agreements. The exchange of views on key aspects of the partnership between Tajikistan and the EU, including in the political, social, trade, economic, investment spheres, as well as in the field of security also took place.
