Meeting of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan with the OSCE Secretary-General
DUSHANBE, 25.07.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – On 24 of July 2019 in Vienna the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Muzaffar Huseinzoda has met with the OSCE Secretary-General Mr. Thomas Greminger.
The Secretary-General congratulated Tajikistan Delegation on the successful completion of its Chairmanship of the OSCE Forum for Security Co-operation and welcomed the efforts of Tajikistan in enriching and promoting comprehensive program of the Forum
The Deputy Minister conveyed his gratitude to the Secretariat for their support during the Tajikistan`s Chairmanship and expressed confidence that the steps taken by our country will further contribute to the confidence building measures and strengthening peace and security in the OSCE area.
During the meeting the parties also exchanged views on the prospects of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the OSCE within all three dimensions, programmatic activities of the Programme Office in Dushanbe, the next round of the Partnership Platform meeting and other issues of common interest.
