Foreign Minister Muhriddin Attends C5+1 Ministerial Meeting
DUSHANBE, 03.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin attended and made remarks at the ministerial meeting of Central Asia — US (C5+1) in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The meeting focused on the issues relating to the enhancing economic and energy cooperation, strengthening border and regional security as well as the fighting against international terrorism and extremism, reports the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The C5+1 (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and the United States) multilateral forum was established in November 2015 at a ministerial meeting in Samarkand with a goal of expanding intra-regional cooperation and Central Asia’s relations with the United States.
