New Afghan Ambassador to Tajikistan Arrives in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 21.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin received copies of credentials of the new Afghan Ambassador to Tajikistan Mohammad Zahir Aghbar.
Muhriddin congratulated Aghbar on his appointment and wished him success in developing bilateral cooperation based on the principles of friendship and good neighborliness, reports the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting also focused on the topical issues relating to the Tajik-Afghan bilateral relations, including strengthening cross-border cooperation, as well as the plans for the near future.
Furthermore, the parties exchanged views on regional cooperation and intensifying work of bilateral intergovernmental working commissions and groups.
