FM Muhriddin Recieves UN Resident Coordinator in Tajikistan Sinanoglu
DUSHANBE, 16.03.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – On March 13, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin has received the newly appointed UN Resident Coordinator in Tajikistan Sezin Sinanoglu.
The meeting focused on the issues relating to cooperation between Tajikistan and the UN, implementation of SDG, strengthening of cooperation with the UN agencies in the aftermath of UN Development System’s reform and organization of the International High-Level Conference on the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development 2018-2028” to be held on June 18-20 in Dushanbe, reports the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties also exchanged on Tajikistan’s water initiatives, implementation of UN programmes and projects in Tajikistan as well as prospects for further development of cooperation with UN agencies.
