Dushanbe-Khorog Road Is Open
DUSHANBE, 28.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – In recent days, there have been a number of false reports about the closure of the Dushanbe-Khorog road being posted on social media sites. The reports have no basis. The Dushanbe-Khorog road is open and no restrictions have been imposed, reports the administration of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO).
In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in GBAO, residents will be restricted from traveling to Khorog and other districts for 10 days. Travel between the regional center and Dushanbe is not restricted, but citizens are kindly asked to refrain from unnecessary trips to regional cities and districts and other areas of Tajikistan, the source said.
