PM Rasulzoda Visits Khujand and Mastchoh
DUSHANBE, 25.07.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – While on a working trip to Sughd, Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda visited Khujand and Matchoh, where he got acquainted with the construction of various facilities.
In Khujand, Rasulzoda inspected the progress of construction work in the field of healthcare and a multi-level residential building.
Rasulzoda instructed the local officials to intensify the preparatory work for the upcoming celebration of Independence Day.
In Mastchoh, Rasulzoda got acquainted with the progress of construction of various facilities which are planned be completed next year, by the 30th anniversary of independence.
Out of 535 objects, 78 have already been built in 2018 and 157 in 2019.
At present, in Mastchoh, the construction of the Central Stadium with 10,000 seats, the building of the Palace of Culture with 1,000 seats, the State Flag Square, the symbol of Blooming Cotton, the buildings of the Department of Justice and the Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan in the district, the culture and recreation park, educational and health care facilities is ongoing.
Currently, Mastchoh has nine poultry enterprises, six construction organizations, ten cotton processing enterprises, four vegetable oil enterprises, one cement production company, one spinning enterprise, one limestone production enterprise, three brick production enterprises, dairy enterprises and livestock farms, and construction of other industrial facilities is underway.
The program of socio-economic development of Matchoh for 2016-2020 is being implemented in stages.
