Tajik Archaeologists Find a 5,000 Year Old Artifact

DUSHANBE, 26.11.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – Archaeologists have found an artifact that is more than 5,000 years old during their excavations in Kulob’s Omar Khayyam settlement.
According to the Kulob administration, the artifact is a spearhead. After thorough research by the staff of the Ahmad Donish Institute of History, Archeology and Ethnography of the National Academy of Sciences, it was transferred to the Museum of History and Ethnography of the 2700th anniversary of Kulob.
During the transfer, it was decided that in 2021, an expanded exposition of the 5th millennium of Kulob will be organized in the Museum of History and Ethnography.
