Ambassador of Tajikistan Meets the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan

DUSHANBE, 05.05.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Afghanistan Sadi Sharifi met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan Muhammad Hanif Atmar.
The parties exchanged views on cooperation and prospects of bilateral relations between the two countries.
Atmar expressed gratitude for the organization of the Heart of Asia-Istanbul Process 9th Ministerial Conference in Dushanbe, which was held on March 29-30, and called the trilateral meeting between Tajik, Afghani and Iranian Foreign Ministers as part of the conference very useful.
The parties also discussed political, economic and energy cooperation between the two countries, as well as the effective use of annual Tajik scholarships for Afghan students.
