Tajikistan and Jordan Holds Ministerial Political Consultations

DUSHANBE, 26.05.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, Tajikistan and Jordan held the first round of ministerial political consultations via videoconference.
The delegations of the parties were headed by Deputy Head of the Middle East and Africa Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Muzaffar Muhammadi and the Head of the Asia and Pacific Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Jordan Malik al-Tawal.
The consultations focused on the current state and prospects for development of cooperation between Tajikistan and Jordan in political, economic, trade, investment, energy, tourism, agriculture, industry, air communication areas, as well as strengthening the legal basis, cooperation of the two countries in the framework of international and regional organizations and other issues of mutual interest.
