Tajikistan Will Celebrate Eid al-Adha on July 20

DUSHANBE, 14.07.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajikistan will celebrate Eid al-Adha or Eidi Kurbon on July 20. This decision was made today at a meeting of the Council of Ulema of the Islamic Center of Tajikistan.
According to the decision, on July 20, at 6:30 am, a prayer service will be held in the country’s mosques on the occasion of the Eid al-Adha.
Chairman of the Council of Ulema Saidmukarram Abdukodirzoda said that in accordance with scientific data and on the basis of the conclusion of the Institute of Astrophysics of the National Academy of Sciences this year the Eid al-Adha in Tajikistan will fall on July 20.
