Implementation of Agreements Reached at Meeting of the Tajik-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission Discussed Ankara

DUSHANBE, 18.11.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday in Ankara, a working meeting was held at the initiative of the Embassy of Tajikistan in Turkey with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan Umed Solehzoda and the Deputy Minister of Industry and Technologies of Turkey Chetin Ali Donmez. The meeting focused on the implementatio of the agreements reached at the meeting of the Tajik and Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation and the search for timely and effective ways to implement the Joint Action Plan.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of ministries and agencies, as well as diplomatic missions of the two countries in online and offline formats.
The officials spoke about the possible ways of implementing relevant points of the mentioned Joint Action Plan, topical issues of bilateral cooperation, including in the fields of trade and investment, transport, industry, education and science, agriculture, migration, energy, healthcare, culture and tourism, as well as documents signed as part of the commission meeting and the Industrial and Economic Forum of Tajikistan and Turkey.
The parties also discussed new ways of developing trade and economic cooperation, and preparations for the next meeting of the commission in Ankara in 2022.
