DUSHANBE, 04.08.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the Chairman of the Tajikistan-Japan Parliamentary Friendship Group Keiji Furuya.
The parties emphasized the positive achievements of diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Japan.
They also noted their appreciation of the role of inter-parliamentary ties and the contribution of the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group to the development of bilateral relations between the two countries.
Both parties expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation between the two countries in the socio-economic sphere, in the field of personnel training, scientific and cultural ties, improvement of transport and logistics infrastructure, implementation of previously signed cooperation documents, and the realization of joint projects.
The officials also considered it necessary to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation for both countries.
They highlighted the importance of cooperation within the framework of the Central Asia + Japan Dialogue as a reliable and real platform for establishing practical interaction and cooperation between Japan and Central Asia.
