Ambassador of Tajikistan Meets Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia

DUSHANBE, 10.08.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The issues of the current state and prospects of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Georgia were discussed yesterday in Tbilisi by the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Georgia Rustam Soli and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Ilya Darchiashvili.
The parties paid special attention to strengthening and developing cooperation between Tajikistan and Georgia in the framework of trade, economic, political, water and energy, cultural, humanitarian, tourism areas, as well as strengthening the legal framework and prospects for bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Georgia, including cooperation within the framework of international organizations.
The parties also exchanged views on the upcoming ministerial political consultations at the level of deputy ministers.
The meeting also focused on issues of expanding cooperation in the transport and communication spheres, including air traffic.
