Tajikistan to Provide Primary Humanitarian Assistance to Turkiye

DUSHANBE, 08.02.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajikistan will provide primary humanitarian assistance to Turkiye. This issue was discussed at the meeting of the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense with the Ambassador of Turkiye to Tajikistan Umut Acar.
Tajik side once again expressed Tajikistan’s deep sympathy and condolences in connection with the powerful earthquake in the southeastern region of friendly Turkiye, which caused the death of many citizens and great material damage.
The willingness of the government of Tajikistan was also stated to mobilize a professional search and rescue team of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense to eliminate the consequences of this earthquake, as well as to provide humanitarian assistance, consisting of the necessary primary materials.
