Number of Enterprises Manufacturing Medicines Increased in Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 10.02.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The number of enterprises manufacturing medicines and medical products increased by 6 units last year and amounted to 55 enterprises. This was said today at a press conference of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population.
Over the past period, 258 licenses for pharmaceutical activities have been issued to entrepreneurs, which is 3 licenses more than in 2021.
Over the year, medicines and medical supplies worth $156 million were delivered to Tajikistan, which is $25.3 million more than in 2021.
During this period, the export of biologically active substances amounted to 82.26 million somoni, which is 63.25 million somoni more than in 2021.
Currently, the list of domestic medicines in Tajikistan is 315 types, which is 25 more than in 2021.
