Tajik Specialists Employed in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Korea

DUSHANBE, 14.02.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The geography for the work of labor migrants — citizens of Tajikistan is expanding every year. Today they go to work not only in Russia and Kazakhstan, but also in other countries. It was said at the press conference of Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Population.
Last year, 383 citizens of Tajikistan found employment in the United Kingdom and 58 in the Republic of Korea. In order to diversify migration processes, the Center for Counseling and Entry Preparation of Labor Migrants in Dushanbe signed cooperation agreements with the related bodies of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Korea.
Over the past year, the Agency for Employment Abroad employed 2,013 people based on applications for vacancies from foreign employers, including 1,709 people in Russia, 223 people in Kazakhstan, 29 people in Turkiye, 35 people in Poland, 11 people in Romania, and 6 people in the United Arab Emirates.
In order to develop international relations, the ministry signed 30 international documents with 12 countries, including 10 intergovernmental agreements and 20 bilateral interdepartmental documents, the implementation of which is ongoing.
