Governmental Working Group Visits the Site of the Natural Disaster in Kuhistoni Mastchoh District

DUSHANBE, 23.03.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the governmental working group led by Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda visited the site of the natural disaster in Kuhistoni Mastchoh district, where several villages were damaged as a result of this morning earthquake.
Per instruction of President Emomali Rahmon, a Republican Commission was created under the leadership of Prime Minister to eliminate the consequences of the earthquake.
The working group got acquainted with the consequences of the natural disaster and held discussions with the population.
In the villages of Paldorak, Rog, Dehmanora, Pakshif, Dashti miyona and Langar, auxiliary structures, which had no foundation, were mainly damaged. In general, due to the earthquake in these villages, residential buildings, auxiliary structures and roads were partially damaged, and no deaths were recorded.
Currently, work has begun to eliminate the consequences of a natural disaster in the area.
Rasulzoda stressed that the elimination of the consequences of the natural disaster is under the direct control of the President, and the families of the affected residential buildings will be evacuated to safe places.
Construction materials, flour, oil, rice, meat and other necessary supplies and facilities will be delivered to the residents affected by the natural disaster as soon as possible.
The total damage from a natural disaster is determined by the Republican Commission.
