National Museum Hosts a Conference on the National Unity Day

DUSHANBE, 22.06.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The National Museum hosted a conference entitled “The role of President Emomali Rahmon in strengthening national unity”.
The conference was held per initiative of the Executive Committee and the Council of Elders of the Movement of National Unity and Revival of Tajikistan in honor of 26th anniversary of the National Unity Day.
The participants spoke about the historical experience of peacekeeping of the President Emomali Rahmon.
It was noted that national unity, as a rare phenomenon in the period of independence, played a huge role in the reunification of the disintegrating Tajik people.
The conference participants also noted the contribution of Emomali Rahmon to strengthening peace and stability, national unity, the development of priority sectors of the country’s economy and other achievements of independence.
They also assessed the role of President in strengthening the country’s stability and ensuring national unity as unique.
