Tajikistan Creates a Platform for Political Dialogue Entitled the Dushanbe Counter-Terrorism Process

DUSHANBE, 23.09.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 21, on the margins of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin participated and addressed the Informal Meeting of Council of Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).
In his statement, Minister noted that Tajikistan is interested in the effective activities of ECO in creating a reliable transport and transit system, simplifying business procedures, efficient use of natural resources, creating a unified energy system and providing favorable environment for attracting investments within the Organization.
Muhriddin also emphasized the need to continue further broad cooperation to comprehensively use the Organization’s capabilities to ensure sustainable development of member states and protect the economic system of the region from the negative impact of external factors.
