Cultural Corner of Tajikistan Opens in Kazakhstan

DUSHANBE, 09.10.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – In honor of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, the cultural corner of Tajikistan opened in the building of the House of Friendship of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.
The Ambassador of Tajikistan to Kazakhstan Khairullo Ibodzoda, the Head of the Central Asia Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Temirbek Kappasov and the Deputy Head of the Department of Internal Policy of the Akimat of Astana Lyazzat Kusainova made speeches.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps of Kazakhstan and the Tajik diaspora.
The Ambassador of Tajikistan spoke about the revival, development and prosperity of the cultural heritage of Tajiks, as well as noted that the purpose of creating the corner is to familiarize with the culture of the Tajik people, customs, traditions and musical instruments.
The cultural corner of Tajikistan in Astana presents national clothes made of satin, adras, gulduzi, chakan, suzani, folk instruments, paintings with landscapes of Tajikistan, folk crafts and decorative arts of the Tajik people.
