Tajikistan and Hungary Sign a MoU Allowing Tajik Students to Study in This European Country

DUSHANBE, 24.10.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On October 23, in Luxembourg, on the sidelines of the Ministerial Meeting of Central Asia and the European Union, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Péter Szijjártó.
The meeting focused on the key aspects of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Hungary, including in the political, economic and trade, education, environmental and energy spheres.
The parties emphasized the importance of further strengthening of the legal framework between the two countries.
The ministers have also signed the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation within the framework of the Stipendium Hungaricum Programme for 2023-2025. This Memorandum provides terms and conditions for the exchange of students and applicants of universities, as well as obtaining free education for Tajik students at the Hungarian universities.
