«Zol and Rudoba» Play Will Take Part in the 42nd Fajr International Film Festival in Iran

DUSHANBE, 04.01.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – The play “Zol and Rudoba” will take part in the 42nd Fajr International Film Festival in Iran.
Artists of the Ato Muhammadjonov Regional Theater of Music and Comedy in Bokhtar will represent Tajikistan for the first time at the Fajr International Film Festival with the play “Zol and Rudoba” based on the immortal poem “Shahnoma” by Abulkosim Firdavsi, developed by Bahrom Kurbonzoda and directed by Juma Kuddus.
The story of the love of Rudoba and Zol (Zoli Zar) is one of the memorable lyrical stories of “Shahnoma,” which occupies a certain place in the general thread of heroic and epic images of the work.
