On February 11, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, signed the laws adopted and approved by the Majlisi namoyandagon and the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The laws of the Republic of Tajikistan “On moratorium on inspections of the activities of business entities”, “On organic production”, the laws “On amendments and additions to the laws “On holidays”, “On state services” and the Tax Code are among them.

The Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On moratorium on inspections of the activities of business entities” is aimed at implementing the instructions voiced in the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon of December 28, 2024 and the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan “On declaring moratorium on all types of inspections of the activities of business entities”.

According to this Law, all types of inspections of the activities of business entities, except for inspections by tax authorities, are prohibited. The moratorium is aimed at state support for entrepreneurship and creating favorable conditions for the development of entrepreneurship and investment.

In order to honor national traditions and revive ancient customs and rituals of the Tajik people, an amendment has been made to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Holidays”, according to which Tirgon holiday is celebrated every year on July 1.

The signed laws are aimed at ensuring the sustainable and rapid economic, social and cultural development of the country, creating a legal basis for non-cash settlements, state support for entrepreneurship, the revival of national customs and rituals, and the improvement of people’s lives.
