Youth from Central Asia and Gulf States Explore Tajik Civilization at National Museum

DUSHANBE, 23.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – As part of the Youth Forum of Central Asian States and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), taking place in Dushanbe from May 21 to 24, participants visited the National Museum of Tajikistan to explore the country’s rich cultural heritage.

The exhibition showcased the ancient history of the Tajik people through archaeological finds and artifacts from the Stone Age, Sarazm, the Zoroastrian era, the Achaemenid, Kushan, Sasanian, and Hephthalite periods, as well as Ancient Panjikent and Ajina-Tepe.

Visitors also explored exhibits dedicated to the Samanid dynasty, traditional pottery, numismatics, copper craftsmanship, written heritage, and gifts presented to the President of Tajikistan.

At the conclusion of the tour, the young participants from Central Asia and GCC countries expressed their appreciation for the museum’s exhibits and recorded their impressions in the museum’s Guest Book.
