Tajikistan’s National Academy of Sciences Receives International Institutional Accreditation

DUSHANBE, 10.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – The National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan has officially passed international institutional accreditation, receiving certification from the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR), one of the leading accreditation bodies in the region.
The comprehensive evaluation covered key aspects of the Academy’s work, including curriculum development, research activity, and digital transformation.
IAAR recommended strengthening efforts in academic mobility, innovative teaching methods, international research cooperation, transparency in academic programs, and digital learning processes.
IAAR Director General Alina Zhumagulova emphasized that the successful accreditation reflects the Academy’s strong institutional potential and readiness for global scientific collaboration.
This milestone enhances Tajikistan’s academic standing and paves the way for new international partnerships and research projects.
The IAAR is a member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) and is listed in the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR), ensuring global recognition of its standards.
