DUSHANBE, 01.09.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 1, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, took part in and spoke at a meeting in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Plus format in Tianjin on the topic of «Implementation of multilateralism, ensuring regional security and promoting sustainable development».

The Head of our state, Emomali Rahmon, once again thanked the leadership of the host country for organizing favorable working conditions.

Having expressed his thoughts on the role of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the development of multilateral cooperation, Emomali Rahmon drew the attention of the heads of state and high-ranking representatives of the organizations participating in the Summit to current issues and solutions to global problems.

The President informed the participants of the SCO Plus meeting about the activities currently being carried out by Tajikistan in the priority sectors of transport, hydropower, industry, and other areas.

He called on the participants of the meeting to unite efforts to strengthen cooperation in the fight against the challenges and threats of the modern world.

The Head of state, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, recalling the global initiatives of our country, including in addressing problems related to drinking water and preserving glaciers, called on all countries and relevant regional and global organizations and institutions to fruitful cooperation.
