Tajikistan and Hungary to strengthen educational connections and programming

DUSHANBE, 04.12.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On the sidelines of the 32nd Ministerial Council Meeting of the OSCE in Vienna, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Hungary Péter Szijjártó, Khovar reports citing Tajik MFA information department.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Hungary, including in the political, economic, trade and educational spheres, as well as cooperation with European Union and multilateral relationswithin international organizations and other areas of mutual interest, including situation in Afghanistan.
At the end of the meeting, the Foreign Ministers have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation under the Stipendium Hungaricum Programme for the years 2026- 2028, which provides the scholarships to Tajik students at universities in Hungary.
