“Today, our Tajik friends and brothers are struggling with new challenges and threats taking into account the problems that come from the territory of Afghanistan. It is important for us to understand what is happening there, what you are doing and, of course, as much as possible to help the Armed Forces of Tajikistan, delivering weapons, military equipment, providing everything needed to improve their combat readiness”, — said Russian Deputy Minister of Defense.
He noted that Tajikistan is one of the priority directions for Russia in development of military and military-technical cooperation.
“We proceed from the fact that how far better security of Tajikistan, as much better the security of the Russian Federation”, — added Anatoly Antonov.
