Dushanbe, 19.05.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Tajikistan will host a qualifying tournament of the Asian Championship — 2017 among girls up to 19 years. The matches will take place in Dushanbe from October 29 to November 6, 2016. It has been reported by the Football Federation of Tajikistan.

Besides Tajikistan, Thailand and Vietnam have also become the hosts of the qualifying groups of the qualifying tournament. The qualifying round will be attended by 18 women’s teams — Tajikistan, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, Uzbekistan, Iran, Jordan, Myanmar, Chinese Taipei, Palestine, India, Hong Kong, Lebanon, Singapore, Kyrgyzstan, Northern Mariana Islands, Pakistan and the Philippines.

We will note that Tajikistan has the experience of holding international tournaments in women’s football. In late April, the Regional Asian Championship — 2016 among girls up to 14 years with the participation of seven countries was held in our country at the highest organizational level, which ended with the victory of the national team of Bangladesh.
